Hong Kong, once famed for its low covid-19 count, is now recording the world’s highest death rate from the virus. The city is facing a shortage of coffins; morgues are overflowing with victims; hospitals are struggling to cope. On March 17th 279 deaths were recorded in the city of 7.4m people. The death rate is more than twice as high as at the peak of Britain’s second wave in early 2021. One model by researchers at the University of Hong Kong predicts more than 5,000 people could die of covid during this wave.
The Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government announced on the afternoon of March 25 that as of 0:00 that day, there were 4,578 new cases of new coronary pneumonia confirmed by nucleic acid testing in Hong Kong, of which 4,574 were local cases; the rapid antigen test positive reporting platform added 5,827 new cases. SHENZHEN, China, March 20, 2022 - BooCax Robotics, the global leader of air disinfection robots, has provided Hong Kong customers with multiple Bubble Fish spray disinfection robots to help the region cope with severe omicron outbreaks and to help reduce outbreak pressure in local outbreak control areas.
Bubble Fish disinfection robot is the 2nd generation spray disinfection robot developed by BooCax, with a new multi-modal fusion indoor positioning navigation algorithm, which effectively fuses laser radar, stereo vision, monocular vision, inertial information, contact force force sensing and other heterogeneous technologies to make decisions.
This flexible and lightweight robot has a sterilization effect that meets the end-disinfection standard. The fish beak type design atomizes the disinfectant into an atomized particle with an average of 4.23 μm. The sterilization principle is described in detail at page 418-419 of the 2010 edition of the Pharmaceutical GMP Guide.
When the average diameter of a droplet is less than 10 μm, the spray is called "dry" and is called "dry"
Dry fog has the following characteristics:
1. Dry fog drops (particles) do not settle and do irregular motion (Brownian motion principle)
2. Dry fog droplets do not aggregate to produce large droplets
3. Dried fog drops will bounce back after contact with the surface without breaking to wet the surface
These properties determine that it has a good diffuse effect, making it difficult to reach with good space and surface contact
After disinfection, there is no residual water mist on the surface of the body, which indirectly slows down the aging of disinfecting robot and peripheral equipment.

Costs need to be taken into account in terms of residues, chemical toxicity, disinfection effects and certification in accordance with national GMP, national and international standards. Less downtime, better employee protection, and easy operation determine the high price/performance of atomized hydrogen peroxide disinfection robots.
